Set off a car alarm!!

So this is the first time this ever happened to me. i was at the mall and when i went to leave i started my car and the car next to me alarm stated goin off. i just wondered if this happens much to anybody else. i've had this set up for about 3 months now, it was kinda cool i guess. by the way i have a custom 2 1/2" y pipe with no cats and a 3" cat back with a 40 series.

You kinda get mad if you don't when you have True Duals, it's expected. I set them off in parking lots when I drive by on the street

in my pos 3rd gen i always did cuz i didnt have a muffler or cats lol

Happens ALL the time!! People have all these POS alarms that are set-up so sensitive a school bus,bass from a 6X9,or some FlowMasters will set them off easily.
Don't know about you but I have mine set to where when they go off someone if fucking with my car. I'm coming out with .45 ready for whatever. Not just another false alarm from the garbage truck or somebody with a wanna be stereo.

+1.. lol if you ever wanna break into a car I will let you know every car in the lot that has an alarm haha

my fiance's truck has a real sesitive alarm, and shes parked RIGHT at the only exit/entrance in the apt structure.... it goes off ALL the damn time.. its SO FUCKING irratating!!

IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO ADJUST!! 85% OF THE TIME THE SHOCK SENSOR IS TURNED WAY TOO HIGH. MOST ZIP TIE THIS SENSOR AROUND THE STEERING COLUMN WITH A 3 WIRE PLUG.ALSO YOU CAN USUALLY TAP IT WHILE LOOKING AND YOU'LL SEE AN LED LIGHT UP.

id love to turn it down!, this a higher end viper system installed by custome sounds... where do you think they hid the adjustable box....motorcycle revving out side...waiting for alarm to go off..... YEP there it went.... how the hell to turn it down?

Zip tied to the steering column.

It should have two adjustment screws if it's a high end model. One will be the setting for the pre alarm the chirping. The second will be what it actually takes to set it off.

thanks!... i wonder if i can just get under the dash and look up to see it..or if i have to take off the colom plastic piece..and yeah this one has a warning chirp, id like to keep that very sensitive, mabey even more so.. thats not whats annoying..its the bew bew bew bew her her her ddddgooo ddddoogg dddggoggooog ggooooooogggdodod bwwwp bwwwp bwwwp nnnnuuunnne nuuuuneee nnuuuuuenn ...god i hate it!!

Yeah most mount them so you can adjust after all plastic is back on.
If it's not on the column it will be mounted down there on something that is rigid. If you don't see it right away have some one shake the car around while you look up there for an LED.
