No offense, but I doubt anyone would buy a used stock cat, not to mention one that is cut.

There's a market for used cats... it's nothing crazy, but its better than throwing them into the garbage. Just browse through e-bay or random car forums where people buy used cats.

Guy in the parts wanted section or such is looking for cats. Think he pays $80 a cat but I may be mistaken. Look at some of the posts in the For Sale area and you should find him. Don't cut the cat, cut right after the cat. Problem solved

Or take them to the recycling plant. People pay money for them because of the platinum thats on the screens

Yeah, I know the prices are what they are because of the platinum. Thanks, for the cutting advice, wasn't exactly sure if I should cut right after the cat, leave some pipe, etc. I guess Ill just cut a bit after the cats.

    Completely different market.

Used factory cats tend to get ripped up for a certain material in them. Normally they don't make it back on another car.

I just sold my downpipe with the cat on it from my old GTP and got $85 for it. I just sold it yesterday.
