sell the GTO for a lowered Silverado?

I have an 06 GTO blue/blue 6spd, 18's with 14k miles. I was thinking of selling her and getting a usefull Silverado.

I do more and more trackdays on the GSXR, so I was thinking of getting a quad cab 05-07 Silverado (not the new style)

anyone have any suggestions or experience with lowered trucks?

idk , i would personally keep the GTO, better on gas, faster, more cool factor, but thats just me, and i also do not like lowered trucks, so that doesn't help either

Sell the gto, and instead of spending it all on a newer truck, buy a slightly older chevy/gmc truck and an older ls1 z28 or TA. Have the best of both worlds.

couple years older on the truck and they can be had real cheap.

also not a real fan of lowered trucks... living snow country like you do i'd go 4wd, makes a good winter dd.

20 grand for an 06 is a bit pricey, don't you think? Even with the extras thats a lot. I picked up my 05 4wd Ram for 15000 off the dealer lot with less than 20k miles on it. Chevy resale runs high though

I would ONLY get a Vortec Max, Silverado SS, or GMC VHO with the LQ9. The run like a son of a bitch. But I say keep the GTO...Thats a fairly rare car.
