    Security Cameras?

So i'm kinda interested in setting up a security camera aimed at my Firebird in the event someone attempts to vandalize it at home. What kinda options do I have without breaking the bank to hard. Thank you.

I think you can buy a cheap security system for around $200-$500...??? A guy I used to work with bought one out of some catalog for $300 brand new, and it was kinda ghetto, but it worked. Came with camera, wiring, and instructions lol. You have to hook it up to a vcr I think, and he used it to catch his nephew (which was his neighbor) stealing gas out of his shed haha.

You could just get a webcam ($30) and run it to your computer and have it saving to your HD.. so it tapes all night...

my parents bought a set up, cuz there was a psycho bitch coming to their house at night smearing dog shit on the garage doors at night, and would slash tires on any vehicle left outside..theirs cost around 150 if i do believe..came with 2 cameras. and a board that you hook into your computer as these cameras were rca hookup. you mount the camera where ever, run wire and hook it in the computer and record..the software had some motion detector device in it to where it would only record if something moved so u dont crash your computer with days and days of footage of nothing happening. long story short that psycho bitch was caught and fined and spent a week in jail. haha....i can check the exact one that they bought for u and let u know if needed

At sams club I saw a motion detector / light that had a camera in it. You put a sd card in it. Everytime it saw motion it would take like a 30 second on 1 minute clip. It was $100.

security systems can be cheap or expensive... a cheap one is a motion/heat sensor camera taht takes a picture every second instead of a steady stream...

also after you have one installed give your auto insurance company a call and see if they will lower your rate a bit... it's a shot in the dark but worth it if you can hagle them down a few $$...
