Well, if you're getting a bad smell, almost like rotten eggs, check your cats they could be bad. Also, if the car hasn't been driven in a while, carbon will build up in the exhaust, so that may be it also.

As to the sea foam crap, I'd be skeptical. I'm not big on additives or the "fix your car in a bottle" junk. Find the problem and fix it, don't go dumping in bottle after bottle of crap from Autozone. Better yet, stay away from Autozone.

I know lots of people that use seafoam.........both in the gas and with the oil and it doesn't hurt anything(two of these people are qualified mechanics)It works good as an upper cylinder lubricant and they use it in every oil change. This is not a guaranteed fix for your problem, but it will not hurt your engine to use it as directed

    Mexican killed my car

Are you talking about the same seafoam that is the same thing as top engine cleaner? Cause that shit works. You have to change your oil and spark plugs when your done, but it works.

i have a 90 toyota 4x4 and use that stuff at every oil change and it does work. guys on the toyota boards swear by the stuff but since then i went with something similar but cheaper. Autozone, walmart , etc. carries it and its called B16 or something like that. Its half the price of the Seafoam. I even pour it in my gas tank every month or so, supposed to clean out the injectors

The thing with Seafoam is to lubricate and decarbon the combustion chamber. This is accomplished by removing a hose connected to the intake like the PCV (I have done this on a Mustang) putting the end of the hose in the can of Seafoam then kink the hose. Start the car and bring it up to 3000 RPMs then unkink the hose and try to keep the car running, it will stall. The vacuum pressure will pull the seafoam thru the hose directly into the combustion chamber. Huge clouds of smoke will emminate from your tailpipes. After it stalls let it sit for at least 15 minutes and drive the car around the block, then change the oil. Seafoam has upper cylinder lubricant that B-12 does not have.
