You're not supposed to wear baggy clothing in a shop / work environment.

by baggy i mean not tight jeans like most girls normally do. not like hanging off the frame kind of baggy. it was a bad adjective to use, i should have said older jeans that can get dirty.

ever wear the real tech pants? the polyester blue pants? you have to order them like 2 waist sizes up to have a few pairs attempt to fit right or be even half way comfortable. and dont ever let them catch fire lol you have to just strip them off if that happens, or they will get grafted to your legs

yeah, i have a few pairs but they were sadly forgotten in the laundry this morning in my rush to beat the crowd and get a parking spot before i ended up parking my baby somewhere in the ghetto so since it's first day and all the orientation BS & "get to know" people crap will happen tonight, i'm not too worried about forgetting them.

i've seen folks get those pants burnt on to their legs, not pretty ... yuck

i've already been here two years so i know most of the automotive dept, my high performance class is me and two other people so it'll be pretty easy to get to know everyone. the school is pretty small as a whole so it's pretty nice.
in my transmissions class last semester, we had this kid rack a truck by the running boards (mind you, this is the last semester of the two year program - where racking is one of the first things they go over, fully assuming that you at least have SOME common sense to know those aren't very good places to lift them from) and it got up about five feet and dropped. needless to say, he was made to go home the rest of that week, lol

Thanks. GL to you too! How long is the program you're in?

I never thought I'd go back to school after the BA, but it's a dog eat dog world out there and you need to do all you can to get to where you want to be.
