This guy should be burned at the stake as far as I'm concerned.

Stuff like this happens all over the world unfortunately. No country is immune and that includes countries that have guns outlawed all together.

Man I watch CBC and visit canada often, i have never heard of anything like this, on this scale happening...........

No problem. That obviously wasn't a church but it was still pretty bad.

I'm hoping they throw the guy who shot up the church in general population and just let the inmates deal with him until his trial.

Mass killings happen everywhere and all the time. Only reason you don't hear about them is because most countries news outlets are controlled on how they report unlike here (the U.S.) where our news media is "free" and reports with glee on stuff like this. "If it bleeds, it leads" so true of a statement of our media. Now in regarding Mass Killings with firearms, hard to believe but crimes with firearms are going down, have been so for almost 20 yrs. Even the current FBI stats show this. The argument that it doesn't happen in other develop countries is a farce. Using China as an example is just plan ignorant. Communist & dictators do not allow the ppl to own firearms (otherwise they would have revolted by now). England - more ppl killed by knives or blunt force trama (using bats, clubs etc.) I've seen several cases of mass killings from overseas using knives & other weapons in those countries that gets very little coverage here.
