Going back to my great grandfather (immigrant to the US) my family has been loyal GM customers.

When I bought my first new car I wanted to help out GM and they happened to have everything in a car I wanted so I bought it (the GTO I have now).

That said, I will never buy another GM product again. I understand all cars have problems but when I buy a new car I expect those problems to be fixed under warranty. Shitty dealerships, unethical business practices and the poor customer support I have been subjected to equals no more of my support.

Early last year when my brother bought a new car after graduating college GM lost a sale to Toyota. Late last year when my mother bought a new car GM lost a sale to Hyundai. And latter this year when I replace my GTO another GM product will not even be considered.
