    Sara update....MRI results are in

    Well...her bladder medicine is working. Kidneys are getting better as well. But the medicine doesn't let her sleep much and backs her bowel up pretty good. I think we have found a pretty good mix of a laxative and her meds though finally. She hasn't been sleeping well on this medicine though....we think because of the bowel back up.

    She is still as happy as can be, which is a very good thing considering.
    MRI shows a tumor on her sciatic nerve that continues up to the base of her spine. Fatty tissue, not cancer thank god.
    Pretty much gives us a name for the issue. Neurofibromatosis.

    Scary really. Pretty well means a surgery to remove the tumor. May come back even after the surgery.
    At this point, we are just crossing our fingers that this is the issue with the leg.
    May or may not be related to the leg, kidneys, and bladder.
    Although they are pretty sure the bladder and kidneys are related.

    Next step...waiting on Sara's doc to set up an appointment with neurology at Children's.

    Nothing as of right now. Maybe in the future. Of course, we still aren't 100% sure this is what the problem is, but all symptoms point to it, so...
