Salaries at Starbucks, Jamba Juice etc? Help please.

Do any of you guys know what the salaries are for a general manager and assistant manager at establishments like Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Peet's Coffee etc? I'm starting a new business venture and want to offer comparable salaries with these companies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know at starbucks (worked there till about 2 weeks ago) assistant managers make about 32k a year, and store managers make about 40k (here in texas at least) can't be any more specific then that though. I know at a shift manager I was making about 19-21k a year, but I always got boned on hours.

I would imagine that it would depend on the volume that store brings in among other things. I work at McDonalds as an assistant manager. We are a $2.5mil/year store and I get $33,000 a year. Of course, McDonalds costs and revenues are far greater than any Starbucks will be. (Tons of menu options, equiptment, 60 employees, utilities, etc.)

very doubtful. my fiance is a manager for border's books. YOu'd think that "oo, borders, snobby book place!" nah. She only makes $8.15/hr and they claim she's at the brink of being "overpaid" We are in Kentucky, but it's pretty much the same cost of living as cleveland/pittsburgh. Trust me, there is no money in management.
