S*it happens...
So a coworker is installing a fuel pump on a 91 Chevy two door truck, he pulled the bed off and set it on the frame and the rear tires. For those who have done this before know what I'm talking about.
Long story short with a faulty ignition switch and the steering column dropped the vehicle is in reverse(due to the column position) the vehicle starts while testing the ignition switch and takes off in reverse throws the bed off the truck and destroys it and in the process the door gets caught on the oil tank and bends it foward to the front fender. Ouch...
Sounds like a monday huh! Ohh and the tech is still in his first 90 days!

I was in a local shop last year when the owner of a vehicle walked into the service bay to get something out of her vehicle. No one noticed that she left the back door open and the tech backed it off the 4 post lift -- CRUNCH! Yes, shit does happen.

Somehow I don't think so.
Ohh forgot another piece of much needed info... prior to this in the first 30 days he forgot or didn't realize that he needed the balancer on the crank to hold the crank timing sprocket on and test started a hyndai sedan motor and sent valves through two of the pistons when the sprocket flew off.
