Running/Cardio crew
Just went for a 1 mile run, And ever since the run was over all I've done is hack up snot rockets for 30 minutes. What the hell? never had this happen before
Also a semi unrelated question, I've got Fish oil gel caps and Flax seed gel caps, Both Omega-3 rich. Is there really any difference?

Haven't run in a while? This is common, I wouldn't worry about it.

Could be a combo of breathing in the cold air and you body not used to running. When I run early in the morning or on a cold day I wear a half face breather thingy that is used for snowboarding/skiing. It helps warm up the air before it gets into your lungs... helps stop that green shit in your lungs from forming too.

Try interval running...it'll also increase your speed. So if you're going on a 3 mile jog, run for a minute at 80-90% of your max speed and then slow down to about 40-50% for around 3 minutes. Continue this through-out the run...it can be very hard depending on the distance/landscape you're running.

That's part of the problem...you have to get out of your comfort zone. No matter how good of shape you're in you can always get out of it....even if you have to sprint whatever distance you're currently running or greatly increase the distance. And again, interval training really helps.

Try running with more weight on you. We run in boots and our Pants all the time. When you go from boots to running shoes it feels like you can run so much faster. just my .02

You mean the bricks that resemble a shoe that you run in.

good way to improve your times is to do sprints, back in hs when i was playing soccer i was running 8-9 miles/day, did the mile in 5 minutes, never practiced for the mile just the combo of alot of sprinting and alot of running
