    Ruger p345 45 acp

Any of yall have this gun? Ran across one today for right under 400. Only bad thing I could see about the gun was that it only holds 8 plus 1 in the pipe. However have a quick little research on the net I have learned that I can mod the 1911 HC clip to fit the p345.
Oh one more thing anyone out there have a glock 45 acp I forgot the modle number. I was wonderin how hard the recoil is? See I have bear like hands big palms short fingers. So the glock is a little wide for my hand I was just wonderin how hard it was to control firein the .45 cal.
    thanks again

I have the ruger P90 a little different design than the p345 but I really like it, it also only holds 8+1 which is the only thing I dont like about it. I would go for it I paid 350 for mine but its quite a bit older than the P345.

I wouldn't buy a Ruger. Most of their hand guns are junk. I would look into a Springfield. Cost more but worth it.

I disagree with you. The quailty of Ruger hand guns have gone to shit over the past years. I have fired many different types of Ruger Hand Guns and found them to be sloppy and prone to jamming ( stove pipe, double feed etc.). Like I said....junk. There are a few models that are ok, but nothing worth mentioning. For the price of that Ruger, he would be able to find a nice used Springfield Armory XD 45 and be much better off. That gun is far superior than anything Ruger has on the market.

have owned rugers both in 9mm and 45 have only had one problem and that was with the 9mm trigger bar pin had snapped sent it back to ruger and they replaced all the internals free of charge and they paid the shipping both ways. Also part of the reason it broke was had close to 15k rounds down the barrel. I like the rugers because like your saying bear hands tried out the glocks and when two fingers are hanging off the grip it sucks that is the reason I like the rugers low cost and very good handguns.

I have seen them used for around $450. Just remember, you get what you pay for. The XD would be worth the extra $100.

I purchased an FN P in .45 ACP. 14 rounds + 1. I've only taken it out once but was reliable and accurate. I might get another.

I have a glock model 36, it is the compact slimline .45, I love it. I can put it in the pocket of my jeans or a inside coat pocket. Plus it shoots amazing. Very accurate and reliable. I have owned it for two years now and fired hundreds of rounds through it and it has never jammed one time.

I own several .45s and the glock is one of my favorites

Dude...it takes alot more than a disagreement about guns to get me "butt hurt". I like to debate that's all. It's fun.
