    Roush Mustang?

Anybody know what the horsepower and torque ratings are on an automatic 06 Stage 1 Roush Mustang? My 16 yr old cousin, who dosn't know hardly anything about cars, just got one and swears up and and down its got 350hp. We went to the local 1/8 mile track and I raced him six times in my stock 98 Z28 automatic with 155,000 miles on it and beat him three times and he beat me three times. I'm just trying to figure out what kinda power his car really has. Thanks!

    Wow, good kill!

Did you try a google search? It'll probably come up very easily.

Something tells me the stage one is probably just a cold air intake, exhaust, and stickers, pretty much like a Shelby GT.

    Figure 315-325 hp?

Roush stage one is basically just visual upgrades, they have a higher flowing catback. I dont think he has 350hp even at the motor. How did he feel getting beat by a stock 10 year old car w/ 155,000 on it?

Thanks for the help. Ever since I beat him he keeps saying that his car just wasent running good because it was almost 100 degrees. I asked him why he thinks he's cars the only one that runs better in cooler air and he said it was because it was newer! He's an idiot.

I still love the fact that a stock 10 year old car w/ 155,000 mile beat a brand new Roush

I agree, 10 years is a big difference. The mustang should have won hands down, but the good old LS1 still has life in her.

Good job for a 9 year old car (98-2007). I once raced a supercharged mustang when I had my z28.
Dont k now how I beat it but it was way slow.

Yea he paid about 28 grand for it, and he also has a 67 mustang that he paid about 8 grand for. But ever since he got the Roush he's 67 has just been sitting in the driveway rotting.

The Roush Stage 3 Mustang packs 415 horsepower with 385 lb-ft of torque under the hood, thanks to the addition of the Roushcharger system. This is the quickest, best-handling, and most stylish Mustang in the history of Roush Performance, a company with a long and rich heritage of Ford Mustang upgrades.
