me n my friend raced a couple days ago which i beat(watch video)

friend: stock ass 98 trans am t-top
me:2002 z-28 conv-headers,lid,and a tune

do you guys think if he had similar mods...could he beat me?

was the car in a accident?? the air bag thing was previous deployed... but i don't know if couldn't keep up that much then i don't know

lets see I know in 01 they put the ls6 heads on some on them.. maybe your 06 has the "factory freak" mod.... 98 was the slowest year for the ls1.

lol i knew someone was going to come up with that....he bought the car crashed for a crazy amount n fixed it up..

in this case yes...cuz he insists on shifting himself besides letting the computer shift....noone can outshift the computer...am i correct?

You got to have the license plate in the front and not on the dashboard. License Plates improve Aerodynamics.

That is BS about the 98 being the slowest year. If he modded just like you with headers, lid tune and a LS.6 intake he would run with you or maybe beat you due to the fact that the 98' has a larger cam than the 01-02 cars. The only difference between the 98 and the 02's is the exhaust manifolds and the intake manifold. If he had the same as yours and his engine is in proper running order the 98 will make a bit more power. The 98's are actually a bit better off than the 99-00 cars because they have larger injectors. So like i said the 98's being slowest is BS.

no, in 01 the LS6 intake manifold not heads were used (some have the LS6 block)... and 98 isn't any slower than any other LS f-bod. It had a more aggresssive cam among other things and that made up for the use of the LS1 manifold.
