Renting a vette?

How would one go about renting a vette? My gf wants to drag my ass to prom. I promised myself I would never rent a tux or go to prom while I was in HS so I didnt but its her senior year and she is paying for everything so I thought I would rent a vette. Since the place the makes them is 35 ish miles away Ill know I can get one.. but how would I go about it?

Think I need to call Hertz or Avis and give them a shout?

That Hertz vette is the uggliest C6 Ive ever seen. Do you know anyone with a vette that would let you borrow or rent it?

most places won't rent you a car unless you are 25 or older for insurance reasons.

I think you only have to be 21. However, if you are under 25, you have to pay an extra $25 a day.

True.. I tried to get a Vette or a Luxury SUV for my Senior prom (from Hertz) and they said that they don't let people under 25 order any car.. I'd assume it's the same for any company.

You could try to get someone older that trusts you to sign the papers... But if you get caught speeding or anything like that they're in some serious trouble.

Yeah I can get just about anyone in my family to sign for it. 20 is a gay age in general.lol
I really dont like the hertz vette at all. Ill give avis a shout. I want a black one for sure.

I've rented cars plenty of times before I was 25. There's an additional fee, but you can rent.

I used to rent cars everywhere when I was 22. It was a pain in the ass, I had to carry a letter from my company that I worked for that stated they were taking any and all responsibility for me renting their vehicles. Even then it was a pain sometimes.

and thats just to start with, I'm almost certain theres fine print that discusses a mile allowance on exotic cars, after a certain mileage the rate goes up. I bet a lot of people get really excited and drive the car like a mad man all day and then turn the key in and receive a bill 500-600 bucks higher then what they were anticipating. lol
