I heard it was someone trying to Rob his house and shot him, I havent heard if they caught the guy or not!

People are messed up!!

Im thinking instead of us putting people like that in jail and using our Tax dollars to feed, We send them to a Island in the middle of the ocean and let them live or Die!!! There choice! B/c it would be up to them to find food and survive!! and if they kill the others on the island who cares they all are there b/c they killed someone else!! No need to waste our money or time putting up with these Convics!

My buddy at work told me they cut the phone lines before he went in, and when his wife tried to call the police the phones didn't work. I bet there was something else going on there, you know how a lot of these football players are these days wrapped up in illegal shit. Theres still a lot of good players left in the NFL tho, can't say the same for the NBA.

He has had a tainted history and always seems to be the "victim" but he is very rich and his dad is chief of police correct? so its not suprising what he does gets twisted. I would say he is just to unlucky to be innocent.

Sucks he died but the way things are stacking up and how hush hush people are being it looks like a hit.

the news said someone broke in a week ago and left a kitchen knife on his pillow. Seems to me to be a warning that he better pay someone something and I'm guessing they gave him a week to pay it. Just a guess. Could just be a simple robbery but why did they kick a locked bedroom door open to shoot him if they were just there to rob him? I'm going by what I saw on TV and I don't really put a lot of faith in the accuracy of news reporters but if that's the way it played out then I'd say he owed someone some money....the kinda money you get shot over.
Sorry he lost his life, he was young and had to much to live for. 24 years old and living the NFL dream one day and shot dead the next.

I dunno Orion...He only got shot in the leg, and it happened to sever his artery. If it were a hit, he would have probably been shot in the chest/head, and SEVERAL times.

Only two shots were fired. I think it was a burglary by the same person, and they panicked, fired two random shots, and fled.

you see though, why would you shoot someone in the leg? That's almost always a non-fatal shot. You would shoot them in the leg if you were trying to make a point to them......a dead man doesn't pay off debts.
