random thought___ when i work at this detail shop a guy came up with a bmw that had had overspray on the windows. Needless to say 1000 grit sand paper will to the job and then some. This fella had used sand paper to remove the overspray an had asked if i could buff out the fine scratches. We are not talk little spot i mean the whole glass was F.U.B.A.R. i looked at him and said i cant but if you use 3000 grit it come right off........... ?Sarcastic? MUCH but nothing i could do.

Yes, break window, replace window. No scratches, no overspray.

you actually can remove them, but you'd have to do some serious sanding then polishing and it might make the window look retarded

aka, get a new window
