Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Nader needs to stop sticking his nose in our business as a whole. Seriously, he killed the GM muscle in the 60s. IMO, all he wants is to act like he is the father of American society. Yah...right. I am happy all the posters on that thread can't stand him either. So I know I am not the only one who dislikes him. I like the one post about Nader tripping over a rock and dying.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Ralph Nader lost all credibility with me when he condemned the Corvair.
Yeah I'm old enough to remember that!
What sucks is that by the time the Congressional hearings came about due to his book "Unsafe at any Speed" Chevrolet had fixed the problem and converted the Corvair to a rear suspension similar to the Corvette's....

Actually the rear end set up (transaxle with trailing arms) was not the best but it took getting the car waaaayyyy out of shape before it became problematic (rear tire folding under the axle).
The fix was to turn the rear transaxle into a setup similar to that used on the C3 Corvette. This was 1964-5 IIRC. It turned the Corvair from a handling slug into a handling dream. Unfortunetaly the die was cast with Naders book and the Corvair suffered an ignominious death in 69.
