The Raiders are known for has-beens and nobodies going to them, he will fit right in.

    Sadly now demodded :(

JESUS CHRIST! What next? Unretire Fred Biletnikoff to catch his passes?

I'm thinking Al want's a crew as geriatric as he is...

I actually think that would help Russell quite a bit but McNabb is going to be bitter as hell if they trade him to Oakland. I look for him to retire instead. He has no say in where they trade him but he's gonna be pissed if he goes to a team that has no chance.

I think McNabb would be a good mentor for most young QBs. I think Russell is a lost cause though and going down in history as one of the biggest busts ever.

Sending him to Oakland would be a huge slap in the face though, although Oakland did beat Philly this past year

I don't really see it that way. It's a business and he's been well paid so they don't owe him anything really. I think he'd be pissed if he didn't go to a contender but if you're the Eagles what's the first teams you rule out to trade him to? NFC contenders aka vikings and Cards. The trade benefits the Eagles for sure....the raiders will pay through the nose for him and they're no threat to the eagles. McNabb has ~5 years left in the tank.....it'd take a lot to make the Raiders contenders in that amount of time from where they are now.

Do the Raidarrrrrrs have enough miracles saved up to be a contender in 5 years, simple answer is NO.

nope, but between now and then I suspect they'll have a few top 5 overall picks in the draft so if they play free agency right in the next 3-4 years they could possibly make it but they need a new coaching staff and a new owner before that'll happen.

As long as Al Davis is involved, the Raidarrrrrrs won't be winning the big game.

Well - some of you guys are not remembering that the Raiders beat some pretty good teams last year.

    >Philadelphia
    >Cincinnati
    >Pittsburgh

I think their defense is getting better - to add McNabb would really help the team. They'd get at least 3 more wins this year with him IMHO.

So....Is Vick now going to be the starting QB?

Philly and Dallas are both the same in this regard. Don't really care what you've done in the past as long as you help get another ring....

For those that don't know me...I can say above because I have lived in both Dallas and Philly.....

    Go Cowboys!!!!!
