Man, that sucks. Never really listened to anything he did music wise, but regardless. I can't believe he survives a plane crash as devastating as the one he was in, only to die of an apparent drug overdose.

Kinda reminds me of the episode of 'Unique Whips' when Will's personal chef died. Was a Marine who survived a tour in Iraq, only to be killed on his bike on his way home from work. Ironic, and a shame.

Yeah that was messed up to!
Or like another recent plane crash that killed all on board but a couple overseas(in Europe i think) missed the flight and were spared. But a week later they were in a car crash on a mountain and the wife died and last I heard the husband was in critical!

I think this is the end result when young folks have TOO much money. Party hard, burn candle at both ends, get involved with drugs, live in the spotlight, then it's all over.
Being a socialite can be a deadly thing.

This thread isn't bringing out the best in some people. I admit that my first reaction was "Idiot," as though he'd been a druggie. There's a report today that it might have been a relapse after being dumped. "Idiot" maybe for dating a much-younger, desirable chick and taking it so seriously, but he didn't deserve to die. I'm going to get on a soapbox and say how sick I am of men dying, and sometimes taking innocent people with them, due to mistreatment by society in general or women's callousness. It never gets media attention in a sophisticated way that actually foments change. I remember, several years, when another low-level celebrity died prematurely. Though I never met him, I was a few degrees of separation away and heard from a source that a break-up might have been a factor. It didn't become public info, unfortunately. Male suicide is an epidemic, semi-deliberate drug overdoses probably also are common - and nobody cares.
