also check out:
monster.traxxas.com it is a forum that is specifically for traxxas trucks. you will see me in the nito rustler section a ton. check it out. guys there can steer you in the right path. with over $800 into my rustler, it is the ultimate basher truck. ver very few weak points left.

i have a Team Associate RC10GT stadium truck and i loved it was so fun to drive and jump, i kinda got bored of it *also broke Remote* i still have it, i havent drove it in almost 2years or so, ive been trying to sell it, it doesnt have a body cause i was painting it, and my dog got wild and started to chew up teh body. It has a brand new .12 AE engine in it, bout 5tanks of gas threw it 4 of em where to brake the motor in...and if you want a monster truck get the Team Associated Monster GT. my brother had one andit was ungodly loud, it would spit flames out of teh exhaust he had put on it, it had a Picco .21motor on it.

I been thinking about getting one of these too. Is it something that needs worked on constantly if u dont torture it to death? or can they be pretty reliable?

As long as you don't run it into things at higher speeds and flip it and such, all you have to do is play with the carb some, fuel it up, put batteries in it, keep the air filter somewhat clean, but jumping it and flipping it is a lot of the fun unless you race it.

I have had the nitro rustler (awesome if you are a beginner with them)
team associated buggy
team losi xxx-nt (most badass one I have ever had. if you get one swap the motors though for a .28 or a .31. it makes it really have some kick with whatever gear you want. I made mine hit 70mph with gearing and this motor http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LC5597&P=1 )

I have had many R/C cars only 2 trucks. The Traxxis I would say was my favorite.
Unless you hav ea few friends into it and a place close like your own yard to drive I would say it's a waste. Due to the fact you'll play for a while then nothing. I would definitely buy used for your first.
The other truck I had was a Savage.
Fun for a while you just have to keep the interest. And as others said you run into something @ 40-60mpg your breaking all kinds of shit!!Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I really like these two-

http://www.rcboca.com/product.php?pr...7&cat=3&page=3
Also- I noticed the first one is already assembled-are most already assembled?
Does it include the remote control or is that seperate? If so how much does a remote control cost? Any other things that would be needed? Like some kind of charger? Thanks in advance.
