Quick update on Sara...and some pics

I don't think I posted after the last time she saw the urologist.

Anyways, after the last visit, the doctor noticed he had never seen her bladder with anything in it, which was a concern.
So, we went back down a week later to test the bladder. Pretty easy test on Sara this time.

Well...her bladder is tense, all the time. Like she is going all the time. Should relax, but it doesn't.
So, the doc thinks she may have a tumor (non-cancerous), a nerve ending positioned wrong, or a muscle positioned wrong near her tailbone that has attached itself to the bladder.
Doc seems to think that if that is the case, since it involves the spinal column, it might include the issue with her leg.


So, right now we are getting another MRI approved with the insurance company. Details to come whenever that is done.


And a couple pics taken yesterday. My family (including me) is from Iowa, and last time they visited they picked up Sara an Iowa Hawkeyes shirt.

She is such a good baby, we think there has been a trade off there. Couple little things for a very happy baby.
Luckily, she doesn't know about her issues yet, and she is so good. Barely ever cries, is very happy, loves being here....we just have some minor things to figure out.

Glad to hear that there may be a possible prognosis.

It may be a issue for a while, but We know it will be resolved.
Good people don't have horrible luck, just little bits of bad luck.

If they find something, it will mean a surgery for her. But if it covers both the kidneys and the leg, I am for it. It won't be easy, but she has a strong support system around her, and my mother has a couple weeks she could take off to help out.
