Quick help with interview follow up...
Hey all... I had an interview for a job last week The interview was okay. I am to follow up today to find out what he decided. What should be in this letter? I'd call, but he said that email is his preference.
Thanks for your help.
Mike

I would think they would call you if you received the job.
I would just write, "Good morning, I would like to know the status of my job interview. I am sending this request via e/mail as per your instructions. Thank you again! Sincerely, ....."
Good luck Mike.

holy shit!! That's funny, I'm actually cracking up! Haven't laughed for a while... thanks
My neighbor is a hiring exec person for higher paying jobs than I'm qualified for. I dropped off the letter with her so she could review it and I'll see what she's got to say.

Now you can check your mail in anticipation of the letter thanking you for application and interview and stating:
*Although you are highly qualified and you are what we desire and need for our company and you would have been chosen ... yadda yadda yadda
Regretfully we have chosen another candidate ... but we will keep your resume on file for 6 months*

Nooooo, I told you to just pony up and tuck.
We have lost one of the best Mullets on the site and you did not get the job, grrrrrr.
Well at least we have Aerialist and his new porn star persona to keep us from being Mullet free...
