Question for the XBOX 360 experts

Okay so the other day I load up Forza 2 and the screen has been switched to (letter box/wide screen) for some reason. I click back to the dash board and it comes up at normal full screen. I load up COD and it goes to wide screen. I check the HD cable in the back and its set to normal.

hmm. I go to Xbox settings and check TV video and its set to normal NOT wide screen. I put a DVD in my player and the dvd plays normal and so does standard TV channels. What gives?

Is your tv "HD"? If its not, then that could be why. I believe Xbox's are made for 16:9 ratio. If your tv is HD, then set the xbox component cable to HD.

BTW, I have is sick Forza garage and about 25mil =) If you need any cars hit me up on XBL. My tag is the same as this forum.

Thanks for the garage invite, I'm still trying to complete the "all cars" achevement.

-The TV is not HD, but I've had the 360 running on the same tv for 3 years now and it never setup in widescreen before. Weird... did xbox change parameters on it's last update?

I honestly dont know. Maybe you should try your xbox on a friends tv...

Well, get this. I'm frustrated so I call xbox support and tell me to switch the setting TO wide screen. What do you know it fixed it, weird.
