Question for the mods

Concerning the rule that members have to post pics of any females they make threads about:

I saw in another thread that the pictures should be posted because, as the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words".

And I agree. However I must ask, is the reverse an acceptable substitute? For example, should I actually pen a description of a girl using one thousand words, would I be exempt from the picture-posting requirement?

Also, if this is true, does the quality of said description matter? What I mean is, can I write it in a simple matter such as,

"She is 5'5", has brown eyes, goes to a south-eastern state-school, scoffs at sorority chicks but is secretly envious" and so on and so forth

or does it have to be a more aesthetic work of prose, such as:

"My eyes darted across her olive complexion as she stepped out of the shower, her skin glistening from the moisture blanketing her body. Her striking azure eyes flashed suspiciously toward the window which made my heart rate triple. She donned a towel, and the last image I saw of her was her dark locks disappear as she left the bathroom, as I resigned to the fact that my virgin hands will never massage or even briefly touch her firm curves. I begin my thirty foot descent out of the tree adjacent to her apartment building, which will likely feel much harder than the climb up." etc.

Even though I am one of the first ones to ask for pics..........as I rethink the rule, I'm starting to think it's a bad rule. The reasons for rethinking this are:

1. Protecting the identity of 'the person', especially if they are unaware the pictures are being posted of them. (same reason I personally wouldn't post any pictures of my kids online)
2. Location of 'the person' is easily detected.
3. How would you feel if 'something' happened to 'the person'?

It's worth discussing.

the whole rule thing is a joke.......it started as a joke but it makes more sense than someone posting a thread asking or talking about some hot girl and then having some lame description. At that point the thread is pointless and silly so that's when the thread ban starts.

it's completely up to iroc.....he's aware how many points he has. You have to think.....how hard is it to get 14 points with some of those points dropping off along the way? You have to either not care or try to get perm banned here.
