    Question about facebook

    Im still setting up my account and my privacy is set to high. My friends cant seem to find me because i think my privacy is set to friends only as in only people who are on my account. My question is as follows......

    If I am friends with somebody, can one of their friends find me if they search my name, or will my name not show up due to the security issue?

    It might not show up. I had a hard time finding one of my coworkers, but he found me. I know if you have a friend in common, your name/profile will show up.

    You may have search setting turned off. But you can also choose who sees your profile, just friends, friends of your friends, everyone, or even certain networks. You can block certain people from seeing certain parts of your profile.


    Like my parents can't see my status, wall posts or pictures that friends post. And they can only see certain albums.


    You may have the search setting where people can't search you from your name turned off
