    Question.

    so....im going to sell my 97 30th annivesary for an LS1 car. my question is. what is the first thing i should do to it? i wanna do h/c swap but really dont have enough money for that. so what would be the best mods to buy for the money?

    Start off with some other mods first, get a lid, intake, exhuast and gears and if its an auto stall and especially if u get a t-top car get sub frame connectors.

    performance wise: free mods, lid+bellows+k&n, cat back exhaust system, LT headers with aftermarket Y pipe

    suspension: strut tower brace, panhard bar, subframe connectors


    thats the route i went, very pleased with sound, performance, handling

    Build the car for the power first, meaning, upgrade the rearend and suspension. Get the tranny/clutch/stall in place then add the power whether it be heads/cam, nitrous, forced induction.

    Exhaust is the best initial performance, bolt on mods to do.
