    Qucik question about the 360

When I have to reapply the heat sink paste, can I use nailpolish remover to clean the old stuff off of it. I just did the penny trick yesterday and it didnt work. Just wanted to know if nailpolish remover was ok the clean the surface before I did anything.

I also went to home depot and got the following parts...

    4- 5mm screws
    16- 5mm stainless steel washers
    8- 5mm nylon washers

I didnt want to order the kit because I have all the parts except the cleaning solution to clean the heat sink with. I thought I could use nailpolish remover for this.

I took the pennies out of the motherboard because they didnt work. Should I re-install then go with the screws and washers, or can I install them w/o the pennies???

man do i smack the shit out of you now or later . Do you even read anything i write. Rubbing alcohol might work but havent tried it. I found that WD40 works well at getting all that compound off the chips. No need to heat the damn thing up, just read and do what i said in the other thread, though im sure your going to f-it up. I should just have you bring it by my work and ill fix it for you for 20 bucks

Its not that. The damn thing is CAKED on and BAKED onto it. IT WILL NOT COME OFF EVEN WITH WD40.

I love how she starts to laugh when it slides up and over her ass but the clip ends right as she starts to laugh.
