    PS2 Tech

I have an older version of the PS2.
I recently borrowed Gran Turismo 4 for it.
My friend's version didnt work so I ordered one off of ebay and it doesnt work either. Is there a reason it plays all my other games cept the 2 different disks I have for gran turismo 4?

You shouldn't buy video game consoles if you're worried about experiencing known problems.

And you should be saving your pizza delivery tips to pay for rent instead of buying video games off ebay

Take the PS2 apart and clean it good.. Its happened to me.. But on more than 1 disc... Wouldnt read a disc unless it was flawless.. Gave the inside a good cleaning and now it doesnt have a problem reading any game.

Air duster works.. You can get them at wal*mart for cheep.. Also known as Keyboard cleaner, or something along those lines. I wouldnt physically touch anything inside of the PS2.. and clean the disc reading lens with a Q-Tip or somethings very soft.. Use an actual lens cleaner if you can, if not light windex.

PS2's, especially the older ones, are notorious for disk read errors. You need to carefully clean the lens of the cd reader. There are instructions on how to do it online.
