Probation...Time To Put Up The T/A

Well finally went to court for my 40mph over ticket...i was doing 70 in a 35. the story is i was on my way home and a car full of teenagers swerved in front of me about 3 times i had had enough so i hit the gas and pas them and a cop is right on the side of the road standing with a radar in his hand, he pulls me over and gives me a ticket for my speeding. it was my first ticket ever, i went to court today and they gave me 2 years probation and 3 months license suspension, so i cant drive for 90 days all because of some stupid teens and my stupid mistake, that night i wish i didnt have an LS1 to step on and had like a 2.0L beater, because i shot from 30 to like 70 in like 3-4 sec.

What the fuck? Probation for your first ticket? Thats nuts. Whyd you go to court for a first time ticket? Were you a prick? That punishment is nucking futs.

I feel for you man, I'm kinda in the same boat. I got nailed for underage drinking and lose my liscence for 90 days. Pennsylvania sucks, I wasn't anywhere near a car and I still lose my driver's liscence.

WOW i got off easy compaired to you.

My first ticket was 18pnts (total) i for 20mph over and 1 for street racing...I didnt lose my licence just lost 6 points and $150.00 HOW i got off so lucky well i think i know WHY but i wont say LOL

my fucking liscense got suspended from a ticket 4 years ago just last week, this is a bunch of bullshit. i was in a customers car that had no insurance and i could never prove insurance on that car and now texas is fucking me. ya everythings bigger here so is my asshole thanks for the royal fuck.

You should try to get a day permit to get to and from work FFS!

Appeal the verdict and get another attorney. I am on my way to court for a reckless driving ticket in PA which carries a 6 month suspension. My attornety already contacted the officer before the court date. The cop said he would check my record and if it was clean he would reduce it to 5mph over the limit.
If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay that attorney and did he even attempt to ask for a reduced violation?
