power bill..
just curious cuz alabama power is always bragging that alabama has some of the cheapest power cost in the nation. so just wanted to see what the rest of the country pays a month, mine was $173 this month and usage was 1598 kw.

If you mean just the electric bill mine was 98 bucks. It would be about 7 bucks less but we have a hot tub we use.

Maybe we should post the housesize...
3/2.5 with office and 3 car garage with small detached. Then a studio (where I live has kitchen/bath) in the back by the pool.

There are a lot of factors that would go into the amount of electricity that is used besides how big your house is. A 2 bedroom apartment with a fucked up AC unit can pull in a 370.00 bill. (Ask me how I know)
This is easiest and most accurate...
173.00 divided by 1593 = ~.11 per kw
The lowest number wins!

Electric:
$66.61 / 601 kWh = $0.1108 per kWH
And since they come on the same bill
Gas:
$136.22 / 108 CCF = $1.2613 per CCF

The rates always vary from summer & winter but it looks like we're around 6 to 9 cents per KW
