is it possible to shrink rubber?
I bought a batman halloween mask, they "typical one size fits all" has never applied to me...wondering if any of you engineering folks know how to shrink rubber so the fucker would actually fit me....thanks. Spare me the "small jokes" please

heat might do it, but then it would prolly melt the mask

Put on the mask then jump into a non-heated pool. I know that causes shrinkage.

try cutting a slit up the back of it, cutting some off of each side and then try melting the seam back together with a butane torch or something. Might work.
Ive had the same problem before, luckily its always freezing cold on haloween where i live, so i just put a touque on and it makes my head bigger which made the mask fit better.

hmmm, i'll try the cut n seam thing...gonna need a torch though.
I also contacted the local theatre company to see if they have any suggestions...waiting on them to call back.

cut out material
punch small holes in whats left
and zip strip it back together

it's pretty thick. I just wish i could actually SHRINK it, b/c the face is kinda big and floppy.

if u cut it dont try to melt the seam it wont work, it'll just burn it

Do you guys really believe this bullshit story of a halloween mask? He bought the smallest rubber for his dick and is trying to figure out how to make it fit. They dont make them any smaller.
