Is it possible for Israel to be nuked?

I want to ask this specifically to the LaHaye and Jenkins types who believe in the rapture and all that stuff.

CAN Israel be nuked? Or would God intervene and not allow it?

IF Israel was nuked, how would this affect your Christian belief system?

OP, what you experience may not "exist" in the sense you're describing it in. Nuclear weapons as well as Israel could both be constructions of you mind. What then?

Anything is possible but consider this, Israel has only been a "country" since 1947. Before that it was basically an ideal so technically if the modern country of Israel was nuked it probably wouldn't break the faith of too many Christians.

That may be, but we're talking about a country here, not a theater.

I mean, even if you had like, 50 screens, all with stadium seating and cup holders that haven't been snapped off by stupid middle-schoolers, I'm still pretty sure that Israel is still bigger. Probably.

ok iraq and afghanistan are even bigger than Israel so it's even more unlikely that there's a theater as big as those.
