Pontiac G8 - LS4
I was looking at the G8 from the Pontiac website. The vehicle looks really sound externally and internally. It's a 6.0 engine boasting 362 HP along with painted calipers and slitted rotors and 20 wheels. It's a rear wheel driver with the MSRP of $30k.
I guess it's comparable to those BMWs and Audis.
What else do you guys know about this vehicle that coming out in a month or two?

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I like it.
Would be a fun dailly driver for the family. But in Colorado, not sure RWD is the best option.
I will stick to an Acura TL or Nissan Maxima as the next car.

Yah... for the price, you can pick up a Maxima or an Acura.... but this vehicle has the stock power compared to those two....

Replace Engine or Debating on Replacing Vehicle
Hey Curtis,
What did you do with your OEM engine after replacement? Man, I'm trying to hold out for the new Camaro.....and debating big time whether I should just keep my TA and get the engine replaced along with the Rack and Pinion.....I pratically replaced everything on this used vehicle purchase 6 months ago. Remember I asked for your opinion on that Engine sealed leak?

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
It's ok, the front end just looks too much like a g6 or a aztek. It also has a stance similar to a new jetta. I think it needs to be wider and lower...JMO

Wider Stance
Unfortunately, all Pontiac have that dual grill thing going on like the Beamers... externally I think it looks better than the Jettas.......
The wider stance will come with the new Camaros
We just like the wider stance since we are into TAs
Alright man.. guess the vehicle is not too cool.... the rear setup looks alright though

Engine Replacement----------
When you went for the Stroker, I know you also replaced your pipes... what else did you replaced? How much was the total? How much would say including labor? Did you do your Rear and transmission as well?
I'm debating big time right now on replacement compared to a new vehicle purchase..... I'm thinking it might not be very cost effective to replace, Rack, engine, transmission, rotors.... I'm practically almost replacing ever single thing on the vehicle...... what do you think?

Replacement Not Too Cool
$20K Stock is pretty steep excluding the labor or any other replacement if you add that amount onto your purchase price of the vehicle. I think I better hold on my replacement for it's not a cost effective move. Thanks for the replacement info. Yah.. I know you went with the peformance setup since you decide the replacement.
I appeal to the style of the Trans Am..... but going for the replacement to my spare TA is too costly..... I purchased the vehicle for $9,200 and have replaced about $2000 worth of parts already.....going for the engine and other parts, I should have purchase a CETA for $25,000 with low miles. I felt the TA would be good for over 100,000 without any problems, but I am wrong. As they say it, replacement would be like beating a stubborn donkey doesn't want to move anymore
