Buick is China's high end car. I know GM sells a shit-ton of them over there. Though, I think they should have broke it down like this...
GMC - All the trucks/SUVs
Chevy - All "normal" sedans, from big to small
Pontiac - All Performance vehicles (except for Corvette)
Cadillac - All higher end stuff

Yep, common sense never entered into that solution. Just like cash-for-clunkers- they should have run that in two phases: Allow people to trade in cars for new ones and then take the best of those traded in and sell at discount for people who couldn't afford new cars (that way the people who couldn't afford a new car but are driving the real clunkers, could get out of them.) It doesn't matter who's in charge- whenever corporations are making decisions there is no logical reason they do what they do.

Black- 1987 Buick Grand National
Thank god it will not be another GNX for the sake of longevity. 547 a year wont keep a car surviving very long. That GNX price was higher than what you could by the Corvette for. Trying to sell a $30,000 Regal on steriods 24 years ago was a tough sell. I myself like the look of the new Regal. Im sure it will run pretty well. They always ran respectable since the supercharged 3800 was an option. Im sure whatever they have planned to power it will be more of the same. With that said. I dont see me buying one. Maybe if the wife liked it, but not me though.
