    Pocket PC

OK...I'm tired of lugging a laptop through the airport all the time....Mama sez go get one of them lil bitty pocket pc's....holy shit....there are a million of em....All I want to do is be able to:
    1. Get my email ( Pop3 stuff)
    2. Spam LS1.com and keep ol Zboner in line.
    3. word/excel/PP would be nice also.
    4. Have some sort of security ( firewall/AV)

Wireless card or capability is a must...airports/hotels/home and stuff....
    What do you recommend?

I had a Dell Axim X3 with wireless. Thought it would be cool for all the same reasons you listed. Got tired of surfing the web through a teeny screen and having to use the stylus to tap keys on a small keyboard that takes up half the screen when you use it.

The crappy thing is if you never get one you'll always want one because of the reasons you listed Once you get one you'll regret it because of the reasons I listed.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

    HP iPAQ's are cool.
My gf's blackberry phone can get on the internet and get email, its' pretty amazing what all it can do. Haven't heard if they're really going to can the whole blackberry deal but a geek I know thinks they won't b/c teh FBI is going to need them and aslo the FBI needs to have their non-US agent ppl using them also, so it's a viable pocket pc option.

Sarge you might want to look into a Blackberry from verizon. Everyone here at work has them... except me, the FNG, but they work really well for what you would need it for
