does anyone have a playstation 3 if so is it worth buyin? (i already have a ps2) r there any good games out for the ps3? im thinkin of gettin one.

My brother has it and i had to barrow it from him cause Call of Duty 4 is such a good game. You can get that on 360 though. I would definitely take PS3 over xbox anyway.

i would much rather have a 360. just because i hate the playstation controller so much. but either way, call of duty 4 is the best game ive played in a long time.

The dual shock controller is the best. It's easy to tell, because it's been used for 14 years with only minor changes (e.g., wireless).

There are some very promising PS3 games that will come out. MGS4 could be the reason I buy a PS3. And you can't forget about GTA4 which comes out end of April (I know it's also being released for the 360, I preordered it for my little brother on the 360).

You also get a blu-ray player, which won the whole "blu-ray vs HDDVD" war.

Hell yeah it's worth it. COD4 is awesome and as said GTA wil be awesome as will the new Gran Turismo. Plus you get a Blu Ray player and online play is free. I love mine. Just wish i had more time to play it.

yeah, love COD4 and i have my GTA4 on pre-order. Hopefully i can get a PS3 before it comes out or else ill have to use my brothers and kick him off NFS Pro Steet.

hell yeah its worth it, but a little fyi. . . the new 40GB dont have to emulator to play ps2 and ps1 games. try to find an older 60GB. i bought mine at a pawn shop

i have PS3 and 360... i love the PS3 BECAUSE of the Clarity that ALL DVD's play on it... also.. the games seem to run a bit smoother on it...

I've got a PS3 and enjoy it very much. Call of Duty 4 is badass on it, not to mention the picture quality on BlueRay is amazing on a flat screen HD TV!

I still wish they had more games for it Im actually thinking about buying a 360 too.

Yes I am female, Ive been asked many times by my guy friends if they can come over and mooch off the PS3.

I have both and I like the online play of 360 better, but the graphics on ps3 are way better if connected properly.

i think the PS3 is a great buy. it's a blue ray disc player. with that it's worth the money and more.

a blue ray player is running $400-700 right now. you have to upgrade eventually with the HD broadcasting and the fact that next year they may begin to discontinue DVDs.

why not be able to play games too??? i want one... just can't afford one. just did the clutch on my damn car.

what do u mean an old 60 gb? the ps3's wont play the old games?

I have th 60gb version. I like it, but i was there were more games for it. One thing about the ps3 is to play online is free compared to xbox.

The 60gig PS3 is widely considered the best of the PS3's but it was discontinued. It plays 100% of PS2 games. The 80gig which I have plays about 80=85% of PS2 games. The 40gig does not play any PS2 games.

why does it vary between which ones will play ps2 games? i never knew that. i won one off the radio when they first came out a few years ago but sold it cause i lost interest in games. i play a few every now and then and got a ps2 again tho.
