I was there when they filmed in Michigan. It was certainly fun but it was packed. Basically you're going to watch a typical drag race event with a bunch of cameras there. Although I Had fun it wasn't much different than a regular drag event.

Prepare for a lot of down time when a car breaks. I had a blast though.

My understanding is that they have a set number of entrees, I think when it was here in mobile they had a limit of cars. Basically they run you to see where the mean bracket is. Mean = the constant average. Then if you to slow, your out, Next they bracket you, you run, win you move on, keep doing it till they get to last 32 cars. These are the ones that make it to the TV. When you get to the last 16 I think, you get some cash that you can pocket or bet against the others, lose your out, win move on.....till the final 2.

Good Luck, if you get on TV send a shout out to LS1.com

I watch the first 20-25 minutes of this show, just to see if any LSx cars make it. At one event there was an LS1 SS camaro and LS1 formula at the same event. I think they squared them both up when they both met the time field they had decided upon, and the formula beat out the camaro. Next round the formy was beat out, but can't remember by who or what.

The only LSx powered car that has gotten the furthest, was a convertible C5. Can't remember where, I wanna say it was my local MIR track, but can't be for certain. Coulda sworn it was the finals but again, can't be certain. Was just happy to see the LS1 holding it down And that corvette was packing alot of juice!
