These photographs were not taken by me, but the locations are between 0.5 and 2 miles away from my parents house in Woodstock, GA.

Yup building communities in flood areas is still a bad idea. Did you see any crocs in the water yet?

Nah haven't heard any reports of crocs. I'm away at college in Athens, GA (Lots of rain but no flooding), these pictures were taken by friends and posted on Facebook. The high school I went to is about 1 mile away from the location of the pictures taken at night.

I was hoping to roll it into the waters, never to be seen again... that plan bombed when I realized it would be there after the water receded...

I feel your pain, been thru all that with Katrina except we had 6ft IN our house!

    Condolences to all.

But I moved north to an area where we will NEVER flood again, ever!
    Regards,
    Todd

Yeah! I've lived in Athens, and Woodstock like you. I grew up in Lawrenceville though. Just moved down to FL this year.
