Thumbs up Photos I took at the 2009 NAIAS here in Detroit.

So, I went to the North American International Auto Show here at Cobo Hall in Detroit on Thursday night. I gotta say, though...this one was the lamest one I have been to in my lifetime. For about 8 years in a row I went when I was younger, and they were always awesome. They always had great displays and incredible concept cars. I'm guessing with this struggling economy it was a bit too much to put on one of those kind of shows.

Anyway...on to the photos. I'll just post up the ones I think you guys would like to see in here. If you want to view the whole album, here is the link:

    http://s520.photobucket.com/albums/w.../2009%20NAIAS/

I'll start with the 2010 Camaro "Black" Concept because it was my favorite of all the cars there. I wasn't a big fan of the new Camaro until I actually saw it here in person. This wasn't the only one they had. They had an "RS" and an "SS". Murder after Midnight has a photo of him sitting in that one:

Interior of the Camaro "Black" - best photo of it I could get.

Lamborghini - I don't remember which model this was, but I absolutely loved the flat blue paint job:

This is the new Cadillac Converj concept. Electric and gas powered. I guess it gets about 40 miles on a charge, then the gasoline engine kicks in and charges the battery, then the battery takes over again. In total, about 350 miles on the charge and about 10 gallons of fuel:

This is the new Dodge EV called the Circuit. I believe this is bases off of a Lotus chassis:

I thought this looked really good. It is a 2009 Dodge Ram "R/T". Still only has the same 5.7 as the regular Ram:

Some crazy ass Chrysler 300 at the DUB area:

I am only posting this because I feel like they ruined this car. Olds Cutlass:

These will be the last ones I post. I've never heard of these people, but they built a pretty bad ass car:

    Awesome!!

That flat blue lambo looks sex.

Gonna make it out to the Philly Auto show like I did last year.

Nothing really to look forward to though. Last year was the ZR1, Camaro and Challenger. Now no one wants to make new cars.

Hopefully they'll have a few different versions of the new Camaro though.

Wouldn't it? That thing was too bad ass in person. The pics definitely don't do it justice. By far my favorite car of the entire show. Also...there were no Porsche or Ferrari exhibits. Wonder why?

I didn't make it to the downstairs area. I honestly forgot they had one. A co-worker of mine said they had some driving course down there with like, a Prius or some gay little electric car???
