holy expensive as hell!!! jebus... i remember startinga salt water years ago (i failed btw) and getting 3 large live rocks... the bill came out to $400.00!!! i said "wtf?! they were supposed to be $38.00 a peice!!!" the guy said taht is per LB... Originally Posted by KahanaReef

One is 90 and the other is 60 gal.
I went straight from freshwater, under gravel filters to crushed coral and live rock.
I was told it couldn't be done....... well, two years later, all is stable and everyone is happy
I've got about 200 lbs live rock between the two and got 2/3 of that off ebay
Now, I've pulled one of the under gravels out of the 90 and just using the rock as a filter. Plus a simple hang over for circulation...
And they told me it couldn't be done Buahahahaha!
