Pete Samphras gets robbed, all trophies gone!!
http://sports.yahoo.com/tennis/blog/...urn=ten-293241
I just thought this is just wrong!!
You spend your entire life mastering the sport of tennis. You receive all these awards and trophies for your championships and Godly achievements in the sport of tennis. Then one day you get robbed and it's all gone....
I'd be pissed off and ruined..
What does Pete do now, ask for replica's to be made? Post rewards? We saw what OJ did to try and get his shit back.
Thoughts people?

Update - His storage facility was located in Hollywood California, and I just happened to drive bye the place on several occasions. The place is up to date and secure from the looks of it..
It's all over the news here in LA.. Local news just had a live interview with Pete and he is ruined!!!
Pete says he was remodeling his new home and put all the stuff into the secure locker so he thought.. He said he had president signed stuff, all the grand slam trophies, etc.. is long gone.. He was almost in tears talking.. He says it's 15 year of achievements that he one day wanted to show his kids..
LAPD is all over this and I believe it's an inside job..
Thought I would share this info, as the news is big and blasting all over my HDTV...Last edited by JIBBBY; 12-08-2010 at 09:49 PM.

He could get them all made again. I guess it wouldn't be the same, but you don't need a bunch of trophies to show your accomplishments.

Let me put it too you in simple laymans terms^^^^
It's kinda like having old pictures of past girl friends in the nude then having them stolen.. That shit you just don't want stolen and it's something you still cherish for the rest of your life.. Grand Slam Trophies are the same..
It's of great value to the title holder, comprendhe?

I have a few medals from track that I'd like to keep, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if they were stolen.

Yeah, but if you were the best in the world and made a career out of it and won gold medal in the Olympics and stuff, you may just care a little more about your track and field material awards..
Just saying, it's a career and a life and those awards represent alot, the moment, the championships, etc..
I can't imagine being the best in the world at anything.. 7 billion people to compete against, come on now???? Trophy rooms are impressive and you can reflect back when you are old and grey..

Shouldn't care so much about material objects. It's the memories that count.
