Personal Navigation Systems
I'm looking into getting one and was wondering who has them (LS1 members) and which one(s) would you recommend?
Thanks in advance for any advice

BlackCherry- Bad Ass 67 Camaro / 2010
I never use that crap, the US Governement can track you.
Use a paper map.
or use Mapquest/MaprsAreus/google etc.

Artic White- 2001 Camaro SS
The one I use now is in my pacifica,it came with it. The one I used to use can be found here:
http://www.alpine-usa.com
and click on the "blackbird", the one in my pacifica is also made by alpine. The portable one seemed to work great. It also has a sd card slot so you can play music with it, and also a battery inside it so you can take it out of your car and walk on streets to find your destination.

my printer is never hooked up... travelling to new far away places is always fun when you use partial mapquest directionsd illegiably scrawled across a fast food bag...

i use google maps, here's the trick, and it's free...
1) you learn to read a map
2) you remember/memorize the main streets you will be traveling on
3) remember/memorize the name of the place you are going
4) look for and remember landmarks to help you identify and get bearings on where you are
**I have seen more people get lost trying to use a PNS/GPS devices than just simply looking at a freaking MAP**
