I was looking for one as a daily driver/beater for when my truck is broke or I'm working on it. All of em on autotrader were ridiculous, about the same as a high mileage 4th gen.

I noticed fox body mustang prices are up there too. I thought about picking up one needing some work as I have some left over parts from years ago and I was shocked at what people want for them. I can get an lt1 car for less!

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
What is not mentioned in the for sale ad, is all the meth that is stashed in the car. Thats the real reason for the inflated asking price.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
I passed by a 91 Camaro the other day, turned around and stop to see what's with it. Guy said $1000 firm as is. Took a look, I wouldn't pay to tow it to the scrap yard.
Had Body cancer over 60% of the car, missing the whole top half of the engine., missing all but the power steering (it was laying on the engine), wiring looked like rats chewed it apart. Interior looked worse than the body. I asked why the firm price. He replied that 's what the scrap yard would give him. Told him take it there, this car is dead. Sad
Also to some of our wealthy members, Why in the hell would someone that is so loaded, have a 71 Corvette, owner rebuild it in 98, still has the original motor, he drove it 5 miles and then left it parked outside since and not be willing to sale it? It is dying a slow and painful death? Again the owner will not sell, get's multi offers every week and will not give it up. The guy that runs the auto shop tells me the owner thinks that if ppl keep offering then it must be worth more then it is. This is a crime. Seriously
