So my uncle in San Diego works at Sea World... he is the supervisor and basically runs the place.. He is really funny, really cool.. There are YouTube videos of him with sea otters and things than women GOO GOO GAGA over.


Anyways, hes married to my aunt.

So he just bought a new house in San Diego and he is doing some wood making and things...


He was using the plainer and was WEARING GLOVES (big mistake) and the glove got pulled in which made his index finger get cut off of his right hand behind the first knuckle approximate to his finger nail.

My uncle is a very calm, sarcastic and grumpy guy... and addicted to his very malty looking tea... He wraps up his finger, there is nothing left of the part that went in the plainer... Then he goes inside and makes some tea.... sits down calms down before he calls my aunt about what happened to him. She calls an ambulance and then he's in surgery and they do their thing...



The funny part is, at his work, employees have called him Cloud for 20+ years cuz of his grumpy sarcastic personality and calmness in high pressure situations... like rescues with JJ the wale (he's in all those documentaries).

Now they call him, Partly Cloudy.

Sounds like my friend. He did that to his ring finger and drove 2 hrs to the city to get it fixed up. Hope your uncle is ok.
