I had a chance to go with some friends Thursday at midnight.

I figured it would be bullshit and I had class at 9am, so I didn't go.

Really good movie. First movie I have seen that really genuinely scared me. The suspense build up is insane. Anyone who hasnt seen it bring a girl with you. She will be holdin on to ya by the end.

My friends all went saturday. I was working on my truck and one told me it wasn't as scary as it was hyped up to be and disappointing.

I do believe it's "based on true events". Which could mean that a guy picked his nose going down the streets and they claim this, because hey, it did happen

I also heard this was like the blair witch thing but I never saw the witch thing so I have no idea.

This particular movie is fake, not the actual footage but is "close" to it

i saw it and loved it. i read it was filmed in the directors own home. he came up with the idea after moving into his new home hearing all the noises coming from a brand new home settling into the ground and coming together. the chic's screaming was great!

The interaction between the BF and GF is totally unrealistic and so far fetched that the movie was a joke to me.

That movie was weak. First of all, the guy is with a girl that has a demon haunting her. Hmm, first sign of being crazy. Second that "demon" was a little bitch. I was bored until the final scene.

yeah the movie was kind of a snooze. you might get a jolt once or twice but that is more of an unexpected event then anything actually scary. A friend of mine who is totally into films and quite the badass dude was telling me how frightening this movie was.... so knowing nothing about it I went to go see it.... I'm in NY and saw this weeks ago. I was so dissapointed that he considered a handycam in a bedroom scary that I actually considered revoking his man card. If it was a handycam in say..... rosie o'donnell's bedroom then perhaps I would understand the fear. The movie was slow in pacing and all the way up to the end you are just waiting for the demon to do something actually scary. You feel this way to such a high level that when the movie ends you are actually pissed because the demon had done nothing worth watching up until that point and you feel like you certainly must only be halfway through the film.

ok i'll stop ranting now. go watch it and let some girls scream in your ears.

i saw it like a week ago, i thought it was a little over-rated but it's not the worst movie ever.

The girl that plays the possesed girl or whatever graduated from the high school i go to.
