need better bands, i remember disturbed and korn and marylin manson at the show one year. These no name bands, maybe i'll sit this one out. Then there is the ozzfest in san diego that had no ozzy "OZZLESS" we called it.

that lineup sucks. no wonder why its free

last year was the shit. ill never forget it. i have been to many awesome concerts in my life (too many to count), but SOAD at ozzfest last year was the best performance ive ever seen. i thought i was high watching and listening cuz it was just so amazing.

alot of other bands were awesome last year too: dragonforce, lacuna coil, disturbed, black label society, and a couple more

there were alot of shitty bands that made me wanna pull my hair out tho, including hatebreed (whos back this year) and some other gay ass shitty deathmetal crap

That is a really good idea.

To give back to the fans that have been paying forever is going to go over very well.

Ozzy is the original frontman for Black Sabbath afterall and has been around since before most of us have been alive!

I agree. I'm also not a fan of hatebreed. Hardcore is getting huge right now but I'm really not into the current trend of hardcore. The only hardcore I like is NYChardcore. Bands like Life of Agony, Madball, etown concrete. Otherwise I guess I'm a metal man through and through. The last few ozzfests jus seem to be inundated with these no name hardcore bands, its not even really metal anymore. Yes I guess you can say I'm a big Nu-metal fan. Slipknot, mudvayne, korn, soad, deftones.

yea, korn, mudvayne and slipknot etc are awesome. i agree with u that some hardcore is ok, but most of it is overrated
