So I wake up today and low and behold......I have a boil the size of Texas on my right ear lobe. I have felt a lump for about a month or so but just thought it was cancer and nothing big to worry about

But overnight it grew 10X fold. My right ear lobe is approx 3 times the size as the left one. So I'm going to the Dr. to get it drained since a needle didn't work for me and super sore. What should I expect.... A syringe stuck in me with a prescription of antibiotics

Never had one before and everyone I talk to that has had one says its very bad.

i had one abses (sp?) on my cheekbone and swelled to the point it shut my eye, they didnt lance it, but put me on these monster antibiotics

Damn, hate stuff like that. Inside the ear or corners of your nostrils is terrible too. I'll take blackheads over bacteria mountains forming way under my skin

It's spelled "abcess" and I had a couple of them (1 slightly over 1" in diameter and another 1" x 2") in a region we shall not mention that, after surgical removal laid me up in a recovery center (like I said it was in a place I can't see or attend to myself) for a month.

Yeah man, I get a few boils now and again. What a pain in the area where you may get them. The one you get on your tailbone is the absolute worst though.

I didn't have a boil, I had a staph (spell?) infection (no clue on the difference

) And it got filled up, 2 locals, 1 slice and 30 min of squeezing

with some anti's and I'm ready to roll. My ear is still 3X the size and looks fucked up
