Overhaulin' tonight!
Just got through watching two new overhaulin' shows tonight. Just when I thought it was going to be some pretty good overhaulin' shows to watch.....well "I was blown away." The producers really outdid themselves this season. If you didn't watch it, you really missed out!!
The first car the overhauled was a 1969 Firebird convertible. They tricked it out of course, rebuilt the engine and put in a 5-speed trans. You really saw the passion Chip had for this car. Chip had one like it too! That poor guy didn't really know what the Overhaulin' show was or who Chip Foose was. (Lucky Smoe). Even his girlfriend who was "a very hot asian," new more about the show was than him. So much love goes into his work to bring out the passion that people have for their cars is monumental. It hit me right at my heart. A real tear jerker.
The second new show was just as good as the first. They stole Chip Foooses 1956 F100 truck. OMG!!!!! They tricked the triksta. It took some extra time to finish Chip's truck for it's unveiling at the SEMA show. Making that truck for Chip Fooose worthy was...words could note describe the task. I wasn't really pay attention how long, but it took over a month to finish it. They found some old renderings of the truck that Chip had done some time ago. If you know anything about professionals like him and even he said it himself, "I'll take care of everybody else first, before I take care of myself."
Spoken like a true champion. Getting back to the truck....500"+ Jack Roush motor, chopped roof and hood chopped to match. Specilal Bear claw brakes with Foose logo. Foose logo stamped tailgate, Foose wheels etc. Well you guys really missed out. Writing about it does not do it justice. The next chance you get-you bettah watch it!!!!!!!!!
I would not mind just shaking his hand and talking to him about my camaro for a while. Like all the other people that watch his show, I wish he could do his magic on my car!! Alooooooooooha Marv

Black, of course!!- 87 Buick Grand National
His truck turned out badass IMO. I'm glad they didn't put any pinstripes or graphics on it.
Anyone notice the old Boyd's wheels it had before??
Then Boyd's former paint guy painted Chip's truck!
Thats gotta be a double slap in the face for Boyd, LMAO
